Legal — Terms of Use

Terms of Use

The terms governing your access to and use of the Editorial Intelligence™ site, the Academy, the Store, the Community, and Editorial Software.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you and Lips and Voices Publishing LLC (“Editorial Intelligence,” “we,” “us”) governing your access to and use of editorial-framework.com, the Framework, the Library, the Journal, the Research Center, the Studio, the Academy, Editorial Software, the Store, and the Community (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@editorial-framework.com of any unauthorized use.

3. The Academy, Studio, and Store

Enrollment in Academy courses, purchase of Studio or Store products, and use of Editorial Software may be subject to additional terms presented at the point of purchase or enrollment, including refund and cancellation policies. In the event of a conflict, those additional terms govern for that specific product or service.

All templates, systems, courses, and written materials made available through the Store, the Studio, and the Academy are licensed, not sold, to you, and remain subject to our Licensing terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Services for any unlawful purpose; reproduce, resell, or redistribute paid content except as expressly permitted under our Licensing terms; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from Editorial Software; upload content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services; or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with the institution.

5. Intellectual Property

The Framework™, the Library™, the Journal™, the Research Center™, the Studio™, the Academy™, Editorial Software™, the Store™, Community™, and the Editorial Intelligence™ name, marks, and logo are the property of Lips and Voices Publishing LLC. Except as expressly licensed under our Licensing terms, no right, title, or interest in any of the foregoing is granted to you.

Content you submit to the Community, Contact forms, or Editorial Software remains yours. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Services to you.

6. Editorial Software — Nature of the Tool

Editorial Software provides structural, developmental, and analytical observations about written material. It does not generate finished prose for inclusion in your work, and its output reflects pattern analysis, not editorial judgment about your specific creative intentions. See our Disclaimer for further detail on the limits of any analysis, recommendation, or educational content provided through the Services.

7. Payment, Subscriptions, and Cancellation

Prices for Store products, Academy enrollment, and Editorial Software subscriptions are as stated at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date through your account settings. Except as required by law or as separately stated in a product-specific refund policy, purchases are non-refundable once access to digital content has been granted.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services not owned or controlled by Editorial Intelligence. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Editorial Intelligence does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any educational, editorial, or software output will achieve any particular result. See our full Disclaimer.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lips and Voices Publishing LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Editorial Intelligence, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Georgia, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

13. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify or discontinue any part of the Services, and may revise these Terms, at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
