Editorial Framework

Editorial Software™

The living implementation of the Framework.

Software that surfaces structural information a writer would otherwise hold entirely in their head — built to think alongside the writer, never to write for them.

Who It's For

Built for the people who do the editorial work.

Independent authors revising their own manuscripts. Freelance editors managing client work. Editing businesses coordinating teams. Academy students and educators building diagnostic skill. Book coaches, ghostwriters, hobby writers, and small publishers who need the same structural reasoning without a developmental editor's day rate attached. Editorial Intelligence Software™ takes the Framework's four pillars and the heuristics taught in the Academy and applies them directly to a working manuscript, whatever kind of editorial work you're actually doing.

Design Principle

Capability over marketing. Restraint over automation.

We do not build software that writes for you. We build software that notices what you might have missed — a continuity gap, a pacing imbalance, a promise made on page ten that hasn't been paid off by page ninety — and gives you the reasoning behind the observation, not just a verdict.

The Workflow

Three thoughtful stages, not a single black box.

01

Structural Read

The software maps your manuscript's scene-level architecture — pacing, point-of-view distribution, and causal chains — and presents it visually, without judgment attached.

02

Continuity & Pattern Notes

Flags for dropped threads, timeline conflicts, and unresolved setups — each with the specific evidence behind it, so you can evaluate rather than simply accept the flag.

03

Guided Revision

Framework-aligned questions for each flagged section — never rewritten prose, always a prompt that keeps the decision, and the voice, with the writer.

Our Commitment

“The software never generates prose intended for your final manuscript. It generates notes, diagrams, and questions.”

Built On

Every feature traces to a Framework pillar.

Pillar 01

Structural Clarity

Powers the scene-mapping and pacing views.

Pillar 02

Psychological Truth

Powers the character-consistency continuity checks.

Pillar 03

Sentence-Level Craft

Powers optional style-pattern diagnostics.

Pillar 04

Reader Attention

Powers the attention-ledger and promise-tracking tools.

Coming to Editorial Intelligence Software™

A guide is coming to accompany the work.

In Development

Editorial Intelligence Software™ will be accompanied by Captain Sapphire™, the guide who will walk alongside writers and editors through each stage of a manuscript's structural read — explaining what the software notices, and why, in a voice built on the same Framework taught throughout this institution.

Captain Sapphire™ is not a chatbot, and she is not available today. She is not a conversational assistant answering open-ended questions — she is a guide, restrained by the same editorial philosophy already described on this page: reasoning offered, never prose generated, and never a verdict without the evidence behind it.

She is currently reserved as a defining concept for this ecosystem, with her full design and integration governed under a separate, dedicated plan. What appears here is an introduction, not a release.

Currently in private access.

Editorial Software™ is in a limited access period while we work directly with a founding group of writers and editors. Request early access below.
